TO SUP WITH THE DEVIL
by John R. Dabrowski

What if Hitler’s attempt to split the Allies had been successful?

What if Franklin Roosevelt had chosen someone other than Harry Truman as his running mate in 1944?

“What if, after defeating Nazi Germany in April 1945, America had turned its military might and political will to the task of defeating Stalin and stopping the spread of Communism? This is the intriguing premise of John Dabrowski’s “To Sup with the Devil,” a fascinating mix of the factual and the might-have-been, of which characters real and imagined (but so well rendered as to appear equally real) that will appeal to every student of World War II and the Cold War. The result is alternative history at its best."

—Dr. Edward G. Longacre, author of Cavalry at Gettysburg, and winner of the 1987 Fletcher Pratt Award for the best non-fiction book on the US Civil War
